CNC Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shift

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus for 2nd Shift! (to be paid out after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period)

CNC MACHINIST candidates must:

  • Have a 2-year degree in Machine Tool Technics.
  • Have the ability to set up and operate Lathes and/or Vertical Machining Centers with close tolerances.
  • Have the motivation to run more than one machine where cycle time permits.
  • Be able to read/interpret blueprints, with an understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
  • Have a good understanding of CNC controls and G/M code programming skills (read, write, edit).
  • Be able to measure and inspect to quality requirements.
  • Have strong problem solving, organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently or with others to support a strong team environment.
  • Be able to handle other related duties as assigned.

Quality Technician

As a QUALITY TECHNICIAN, you will MAKE AN IMPACT by:

  • Interpreting manufacturing drawings and calculating maximum and minimum dimensions
  • Using calipers, micrometers, and similar hand tool inspection devices to verify products meet typical +/- tolerances and be capable of operating Coordinate Measuring Machines
  • Using “Go/No Go” gauges to verify product conformance
  • Visually inspecting products for damage or poor workmanship and alerting QC Manager of potential non-conformances
  • Providing floor support related to inspection techniques and requirements
  • Initiating NCR’s (Non-Conformance Reports)
  • Supporting First Article Inspection
  • Being compliant to ISO procedures and standards
  • Being open and willing to complete other duties as assigned.

WELDER / FITTER

Essential DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES as a WELDER/FITTER:
• Have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience with Flux Core/GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding/Mig )
• Read and understand blueprints and have knowledge of GDT weld symbols
• Proficient at fixture design
• Weld low volume/prototype components or sub-assemblies to meet applicable quality standards and drawing requirements
• Pass multiple weld certifications
• Weld fitment experience to .030 tolerances a plus
• Heat straightening experience a plus

BUYER / PLANNER

Pro-Cise, Inc. (www.pro-cise.com), an ever-growing precision fabrication and machining services company, and a subsidiary company of Plank Enterprises, Inc., is searching for a BUYER/PLANNER to join its team. As the Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for the ongoing procurement and negotiations of materials, components, supplies and services that meet the quality standards of the company and its customers. You will also assist in tracking customer orders to ensure they meet delivery requirements.


How will YOU MAKE AN IMPACT as a BUYER/PLANNER?

  • Responsible for the planning, developing and purchasing of all raw materials, components and outside services specific to customer requirements.
  • Build and develop relationships with key suppliers.
  • Responsible for managing and tracking customer orders from receipt to shipment.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services to meet the production requirements.
  • Assist in visiting and qualifying suppliers for outsourced work and contracted special services.
  • Assist in management and identification of raw material inventory.
  • Assist in sales support including estimating material quotes and outside service quotes.
  • Assist in variance analysis with regards to estimated hours vs. actual hours.
  • Continuous process improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience with ERP software highly recommended
  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and machining preferred
  • Knowledge of print reading and interpretation preferred
  • Knowledge of materials and material properties preferred
